The PSA-25 pistol is a single action, semi-automatic, self-loading, blow-back mechanism manufactured from all steel (8620) alloy components (with the exception of the “Featherweight” version which incorporates a 6061 aircraft aluminum frame heat treated to T6 Rockwell hardness). It is striker fired and utilizes a smooth faced, single stage draw bar trigger with pull weight of 5.25 lbs. The PSA-25 pistol can hold seven rounds: six in its magazine and one chambered. The barrel is 2.13 inches long, has 6 lands and grooves and is right-hand twisted with a radius of 3.54 inches. The Pistol has a very small footprint: it is only 4.11 inches long, has a height of 2.88 inches and a side-to-side thickness of .88 inches. It is literally the size of a typical Blackberry phone! Depending on the model, the Pistol weighs in between 7.25 and 9.70 ounces, unloaded. Outfitted with a manual frame-mounted safety mechanism, magazine dis-connect device and spring loaded cocking indicator, the PSA-25 Pistol is built in ten versions ranging from the well known "Traditional" to the highly coveted "Impériale".
